But I got to tell you guys, honestly, like I know multiple times in the past we've been like hey, we may not. We may never do the show again. Right?
>> Freddy: Right.
>> Parker: I mean jokingly of course because we do the show because couldn't pay enough or at all do the show't pay us. Right. But last week, just merely days after we recorded last week's show. So Friday, I had a rare. So spring break. So I had. That's right. It was very exciting. It was a nice day outside. I had a rare time in the car alone without the kids. Like any of the kids driving home. And I was just, I was just feeling it. I was like, man, this is a nice day. You know, everything's great. Driving home, almost home. Right. And then I fucked up. Yeah. And I was driving on a frontage road near a major, you know, obviously near an interstate near my house. And there was a gentleman walking down the road and I said wow, this gentleman probably is trying to go to work up here at one of these to you all. I know, I know one of these many various warehouses. I'll just pull over and see if I'm all right because I'm hel'wrong with you?
>> Freddy: This is not 1983, man.
>> Parker: He's stuck in the 80s, man.
>> Parker: I'm telling you, man, I'm never doing it again. Okay, Let me just tell you, this never did last. As soon as I was like, he.
>> Freddy: Pick up that one legged chick or something like picked up.
>> Parker: That was my girlfriend that lost her leg and then disappeared. I didn't have anything to do with that.
>> Parker: Okay.
>> Parker: She was found.
>> Freddy: Yeah, okay, your car.
>> Parker: She was found in a landill, but she was found. The leg was in the. Just the leg? Yeah, just the leg. The other leg. But, so like I said, yeah. As soon as I. I was liked, damn it. As soon as the guy was like, yeah, man, I use a ride. I was like, shit, what did I do here? And then so the got in the car and I was like, this guy is wasting here than he was.
>> Freddy: I was about to say he felt like Rutab Baker didn't.
>> Parker: He's SM so bad.
>> Freddy: I t know what smell like, but.
>> Parker: I'm pretty sure he did smell earthy rudabag smell like potatoes that have gone bad. yeah, it is really. Like, like, like imagine if potatoes like whatoes makeodka?
>> Freddy: Yeah, Ferment potatoes. So, yeah, imagine like like that's one of the maggots. Maggots and like rotten potatoes. Like those are like two that will kick my gag reflex up, man.
>> Parker: I can tell youud you are struggling to get through this. So as he as. As his french fries stinking smelling ass waft it overhard me. I got in and I was like, hey. I said, hey, man, what are you just like headed to work or whatever? He's like, well, and this is. I was already moving and this was my mistake. We don'he was like, well, really don't have anywhere to go. I was like, what the. Like. I was like, goddamn, I'm gonn die. Where are you going, buddy?
>> Parker: Immedly.
>> Parker: I was like, this is the end. I'm nevern to do the show again. I'll never see my family. This guy has nothing, man. He's. And I let him into my vehicle, which is something.
>> Freddy: why?
>> Parker: Because I'm stupid Fred. So I said, well, buddy, I'll give you a ride up here to the store or whatever, and then I'WE ll let you mosey on down the road. Get your said. I was like, where are you staying at, man? He's like, well, you know.
>> Freddy: Oh, Lord, you ask some questions too, God.
>> Parker: Where can I take you to get you recah?
>> Parker: I'M gonna take you through that stop sign and drop I him get theuck out.
>> Parker: I didn't never had knife at that point.
>> Freddy: I'd have pulled up like 20ft past and let him run to the car and pull the fuck off.
>> Parker: Hold on. I will from now on. So I was like.
Fred says he gave homeless man a ride because he seemed scared
So he's like there for a second, all contemplative, right? For like. He's like, oh, you know. I was like, yeah. He's like, I guess I'm homeless. And I was like, oh, f. He's like. And of course he's like, I've never said that before. I just, you know, I'm like, oh, fuck me, I'm gonna die immediately. I was like, I'm gonna die. This is the end. I was like, how do I die? 911 secretly how you got it.
>> Freddy: He's coming to. Like, he's coming. Yeah, it's coming to terms and ye.
>> Parker: Like, like, O God. Like, no, man. So he's like, well, I guess I can head over to. I live in. Great. I have some friends in Gray Court.
>> Parker: I can see.
>> Freddy: No, you don't. No, don't. No his ass down.
>> Parker: I was like, oh, yeah, Fred, no problem.
>> Freddy: No. Nope.
>> Parker: So I was like, all right. I said, I'll give you a ride, like to the interstate, like to the. To the exit on out there. Cause it wasn't. It's not that far. I ended up giving him a ride and like, he's just, I was like. The whole time I was like, dude, this motherfucker. Like, am I going toa die? What's going to happen?
>> Freddy: That's the thing.
>> Parker: And I knew immediately. Like I said, as soon as I did it, I was like, this is fucking stupid'doing too. Like, you're stupid.
>> Freddy: Intrusive thoughts. You m. Let your intrusive thought.
>> Parker: I tried to be. You know, sometimes I'm like, you know what?
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: Because for some reason in my head, Fred. And see, here's the problem is I'GOOD Samaritan.
>> Freddy: I'm trying to be dec. Human being. Yes.
>> Parker: And I was like, I get it. I was like, you know, maybe this guy's not like, maybe he's. Maybe he's just a guy who doesn't have a. And is walking randomly down the road for no reason. You know, maybe he's not a random homeless drifter that stabs people for fun and then again pick up as soon as he got in the car. Nope. Who.
>> Freddy: Who really does that, man?
>> Parker: Who does what.
>> Freddy: Road like, idiot is.
>> Parker: Who doesn it, man.
>> Parker: I mean I've stopped and helped like a lady with, you know, flat tire and shit like that, but yeah, I.
>> Parker: Ain'T picking nobody up la m you don't feel bad for people like.
>> Freddy: No. They got phones, they got cell phones. You call somebody or, do something.
>> Parker: America, man, they give you.
>> Freddy: You want it to be in that rain? If you re likeary go there's cover shelter.
>> Parker: What if you're like Gary, which is the guy's name that I picked allegedly. His name is Gary. he didn't. He thought about it for a second and that concerned me as well.
>> Parker: What's the name?
>> Parker: He's like Gary.
>> Parker: Yeah, I'm gonna go with Gary today.
>> Parker: So the cops were. Yeah, so the cops. When the cops like who raped and stabbed you?
>> Freddy: I'll be likeary whoary you gu my name.
>> Parker: Gary's got the tow, right? You let him a cranberry juice next to him?
>> Parker: Yep, that's it. Bery juice.
>> Parker: So Gary was here.
>> Parker: I didn't want to be another one of Gary's victims. Thankfully, Gary was.
>> Freddy: He was found naked in the bushes. Gary was here. Carved on his ass.
>> Parker: The Gary, killer strikes again. Like the Great Court Gary.
Gary: I would never do it with the kids in the car
>> Freddy: Gary, Gary gimp.
>> Parker: Great Court Gary the gimp.
>> Parker: Great Court Gary.
>> Parker: Murderous man no one talks about because there's no police in greayr o my well, yeah. So again, I know. I think we've talked about this potentially in the past. I've done this before craz. I would never do it with the kids in the car. See, that's the thing, right?
>> Parker: No, no, hell no.
>> Freddy: No. I would do myself in the car, man.
>> Parker: Now you gott imagine m that the kids are in the car with you. Every time, man.
>> Parker: This what I was goingn ask, okay, But I need. I need the truth, Fred. And now this gentleman was not an attractive gentleman. I'm not into that anyway. But that's fine if you are. But if he was a hot lady, would you have picked him up?
>> Parker: No, you pick up a hot lady and hot lady.
>> Parker: Then I have a random dude.
>> Parker: No, I would t. I don't anybody up.
>> Freddy: No, man, because you don't know what she gonna do. She might.
>> Parker: She's probably crazier than him. Yeah.
>> Freddy: Ah, for real. She could start freaking out.
>> Parker: Ah, hot lady walking down the road.
>> Freddy: Called police and say you tried to.
>> Parker: Rap.
>> Freddy: M sett yourself up, man. You setting yourself up. I'm so there you.
>> Parker: I feel like I did get lucky at the end of it. I feel like he was like a, thankfully, he was a decent enough dude. And he didn't stab me much, and at least not with a knife. Stabbed me in my heart with his word. But like, no, man, I was like, God dang it, I'm so stupid for doing this. And, again, you know, it's one of those things like you said, Alan, it's those or who one of you said. The intrusive thoughts were just like a brief second, right. Were enough to like, like, yeah. And then it was too late. And like, because like I said, as soon as it was like, yeah, I was like, shit. Like, it dawned on me hoping that.
>> Parker: It was like, nah, man.
>> Parker: Cool.
>> Freddy: Fuck you, you know, got.
>> Parker: And then actually there have been cases like that. Like, they've been like, hey, you want need to ride? And they're like, no, go fuck yourself.
>> Parker: Funn ye.
>> Freddy: You know, I had a guy, I pulled over to do some work on the computer in my car, and it's empty parking lot. And, this guy, he came up to me. I saw him coming. You know what I'm saying? He's walking out the street and he looked at me and I kind of like locked eyes with him. Yeah, that was when I was like, yeah, man. And he came over. He came over to the car. He was like, excuse me, u brother, could I And like, he was weari. He was wearing a T shirt and a tie likee T. That is the.
>> Parker: Tradal classy crazy person.
>> Parker: He was just for business.
>> Freddy: He had a beanie on. And I was like, what theuck, man? He was likeh, excuse me. Oh. He's like, I got like three dollar and I just need 60 cent. I got to get some flowers from the Dollar General. I was like, huhndom. Like, just did not make any sense.
>> Parker: See, but that's. I'm, Yeah. All right, here's a.
>> Parker: Actually, if somebody asked me for money, 90% of the time I'm like, dude, I know you're lying, but it's a good lie. Yeah, but flowers, I wouldn't have done.
>> Parker: It right now have $3 to your name.
>> Parker: You need flowers, you got to come up. I usually tell them that you got to come up with a better one, man. Give me something.
>> Freddy: Give me something.
>> Parker: Said that to me, Fred. I just said, hop in, let's go.
>> Parker: let's go to the Dollar General.
>> Freddy: I had. I just had like, changeing about, like, door handle. Y. You know all I'm saying. So I like just scooped out of chain. I was like, this is all I got, man. And I gave it to him.
Was he going to propose? Yeah, that could have been it
He was like, oh, no, man, it's too much. Just's too much. Like. He was like, yeah. I was like, bro, take it. He was like, o give me back like what he didn't need.
>> Parker: He's like, I'm going for a job interview.
>> Parker: Man 's got to have those five. Was he going to propose?
>> Parker: Yeah, that could have been it. Yeah, he was probably going to propose, man.
>> Parker: Yeahah thew with flowers. O dude to yeah.
>> Freddy: Wow.
>> Parker: He made somebody.
>> Parker: But now the question is to what? Like depending on the level of crazy that matter.
>> Parker: Long as. As long as it or she or whatever he's proposing. Yes, he's good.
>> Parker: Proposed to a tree, take a light pole.
>> Freddy: She said, yeah, she's on.
>> Parker: I turned her off.
>> Parker: I turn her on every night.
>> Freddy: Oh my God.
>> Parker: so see, it happens though. We know once you make eye contact with the homeless, bro.
>> Freddy: Yeah, it's over, man.
>> Parker: You'done you toes.
>> Freddy: You got them and.
>> Parker: And they have like a radar. They know the stff.
>> Parker: Oh, yeah, yeah. They know what you look for. They know and love.
>> Parker: I love my wife very much, but she is number one sucker. She's got it painted on her damn forehead and because they'll look at her and she'll be like, hey. And they're like, ah.
>> Parker: They look my way and they're like, ah mot yeah, that one a t.
>> Freddy: Get out of.
>> Parker: I don't like that.
>> Parker: Fat guy is not going to give up anything he needs.
>> Parker: Allegedly. I know somebody that he was walking with his mother once downtown m and some homeless guy went to ask her for money and he grabbed her by the arm and that person allegedly just to ass up. You touched my mama, man.
>> Freddy: That's what he gr oh, he grabbed. He grabbed.
>> Parker: Gary Grab.
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: Friend Al.
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: It was like, nah, dude, that ain't.
>> Freddy: Gon ever touch my mama, boy.
>> Parker: No, that's not appropriate, guys.
>> Freddy: Good for that guy standing up for his mom.
>> Parker: Yeah, I agree. Good job. Great job. Whoever that waseah. Whoever that was.
>> Freddy: Well, so guy otb.
>> Parker: Allegedly.
>> Parker: Allegedly.
I've noticed an influx of people with student driver stickers lately
>> Parker: Guy, let me ask you a question because I've seen an influx of something and I need to snow and I'm hoping that I'm not Okay. What's that thing? Before we before I ask you the thing. What is that thing that they call it when people yeah. Remember was didn't we have a show did we have on the week last week? Like what's the name of that thing? I hate this is one of them sort of what's that thing that they.
>> Freddy: Say a gang of shit or when.
>> Parker: No. Ah when like you see something and then you're like oh. You only notice it because now you're looking for it. Do you know I'm talking about. Have you ever heard that? Yeah.
>> Parker: Like if you buy a car.
>> Freddy: I know.
>> Parker: Yah. You buy a car, you're like oh, I was looking. I wanted to buy a red Mazda or whatever. Now you notice everybody's got I see red mazas. Yeah. Or whatever.
>> Freddy: Right. Yeah.
>> Parker: You're like that's called the Right.
>> Freddy: It's called the door and final effect.
>> Parker: Okay.
>> Parker: The old door and fin do and finle with it for sure. So this is not bad.
>> Parker: O ok.
>> Freddy: It's finled Don.
>> Parker: This is the old reverse store and finle which the ladies love from what I understand. So she's gotta pay extra for that. That's right. Yeah. T.R. it's true. The conversion rate is messed up. It's Canadian. But no. So I just seen this influx lately. I've noticed it in front of me and it makes me wonder and I've only noticed it not like while driving generally, but like only when I come to a stop, okay.
>> Freddy: My car, walk down the street, smoke.
>> Parker: Comes out of the car and it's just weird. I don't get it. But as long as I move it, nothing happens. No, I'm kidding.
>> Freddy: That about I noticed radiator.
>> Parker: No, I've noticed that lately. For real. like it influx of people with like student driver. Like I'm a driver. Yeah.
>> Parker: That's on my car.
>> Parker: And every fucking time. Because I make a point to drive by them to make sure that they are a student. They're never a student.
>> Parker: No, it's a gag.
>> Parker: It s always like a 45 year old.
>> Parker: Yeah.
>> Parker: It's a gag person.
>> Freddy: Nah, I think those are the instructors like they get it's a gag.
>> Parker: Cause it came up on my Amazon when I logged on to Amazon it came up and it had the sticker. You know, it was like hey, the student driver sticker to few people. Cause I have one that says I.
>> Freddy: Used to be cool.
>> Parker: I have a sticker in my car says I used to be cool.
>> Freddy: I still am M. But I used to be too.
>> Parker: I used to be cool. I drive a hatchback.
>> Parker: You know the moral of tonight's episode is stickers can lie.
>> Parker: Yeah. So now they never. That's true.
>> Parker: But no. Okay. So I keep see it like I said like 45 year old people generally. And I'm a 45. I as a 45 year old people, you know, I would say may it like
>> Freddy: Is it like the baby on board thing or.
>> Parker: Yeah, just different ones. I've seen different. I've seen four or five different designs but they all say like student driver, take it easy on me. Or like still learning's like
>> Parker: It's like you get closer to me the slower I drive.
>> Freddy: Sure. Yeah. Well, I guess that would kind of be like a deterrent because if I.
>> Parker: Well, and that's what.
>> Freddy: I'm not going to follow him so closely or.
>> Parker: Well, and that's what I was going to ask. So if you see that. Do you treat a person differently? Because I'll be realistic with you, I treat them significantly worsely.
Fred: I think we should have a sticker that says I'm bad at driving
>> Freddy: Yeah. What I like to do, what I like to do if I see somebody like that. Because I know, I know if it's a young driver, if it is a real. Yeah, no, I fuck with him even harder. Like you gott like most, most of those kids will be driving down the street with their heads in their phone.
>> Parker: Yeah.
>> Freddy: Like, and I'll wait till like, you know they deep in it and then straight away home.
>> Parker: Y. You gott teach them.
>> Freddy: Yeah, you gott teach them man.
>> Parker: Know. Yeah.
>> Parker: I huk got'be like I love Jesus. That's why I'mingember those thinkersk.
>> Parker: You love Jesus.
>> Parker: J jus.
>> Parker: I do remember that. So, no, to me man, like I said, I just keep. The more I see them, the more I'm like, are they just. Why don't we. So what I think it is, what I'm pretty sure it is, is these are people who, like I said, are not new drivers or anything like that.
>> Freddy: Right.
>> Parker: They're just trying to. They, they don't want to admit it, but they're saying to themselves, I am not good at this. Like maybe this will give me a break from people. You know what I'm saying?
>> Freddy: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
>> Parker: Like they admit to it. They don't want to say like, maybe I'm not the best driver. Please bear with me. I'm trying. So what I think we should do, Fred, is we should have a sticker that just says I am bad at driving. please be aware. Just put that on your car. Be very clear about it.
>> Freddy: We could do that. That's like unknowingly, you know.
>> Parker: That's what I'm thinking. Yeah, that's what I'm saying'say. It says I am a bad driver. America's favor. Poodcast.com. right.
>> Freddy: Terrible drivers. I want to
>> Parker: I'm concerned because I don't know if that's like a liability. Like if we could get in trouble for that. Like. Cause I mean that's. That's put it on somebody else's property. You know what I'm saying?
>> Freddy: Yeah, that's true. Yeahuse. I had a little incident with that, you know, spray painting rocks and shit.
>> Parker: Allegedly.
>> Freddy: Allegedly.
>> Parker: Allegedly. Yeah, allegedly, man. I think.
>> Freddy: Yeah. I think it would be not a.
>> Parker: I think we should just do. I think you should be able to get a sticker for anything that you have issues with in your life.
>> Parker: What you did. Did they do.
>> Freddy: Well you can. Yeah.
>> Parker: No, no, but like a sticker that.
>> Freddy: But you can't give them out. You can't.
>> Parker: Right, right. Know. I think you should be like self. You should just be like, listen, I suck at parallel parking. sticker on the back of my car. If you see me parallel parking, just know it's gonna suck. And then you can't be mad because if somebody. If someone clearly sets out like the line before it happens, you can't be mad.
>> Freddy: Well, well, okay. Just speaking for parallel parkers'I mean it's not. It's not difficult thing to do. But a lot of people only do it like when they take their driving test. You know I'm saying. So I have to learn it how I'd learn it. I have to learn it how to do it to get this part of my life over with. And I probably won't use it again, you know. I mean unless I go to a big city or something. But you know, it's not that hard to do. You just got to know how to do it.
>> Parker: I'm not saying it's hard to do. I'm just right.
>> Freddy: And I parallel bare.
>> Parker: I've gotten better at it because I'm now work in a city more than not the. That's easy.
>> Parker: I mean just look at the corner where you see the edge of the corner, right? Run the thing just start turning.
This actually cracked me up initially. I'm sorry I got to sell somebody out
>> Parker: That's baby. I just held the car to parallel park.
>> Parker: just sit there like.
>> Parker: I just leave it and get out. I'm like, you'park itself. That's m. I tell the people behind me. I'm like. It says it parks itself and then I walk away. And it doesn't do that.
>> Freddy: It's a 98 Honda Accord, man.
>> Parker: Don't worry about it. I'll be back in 10 minutes. But no, I mean like said it just. It's one of those things crack me up because speaking of cars while we're on car chat. I have to say this. I'm sorry I got to sell somebody out, but this is funny to me. This, this actually cracked me up really, really hard initially. And then afterwards, now I'm like, oh, makes sense. So I hopped in a Budny Min's car the other day, a buddy of ALN's and yours as well, Fred. and he's got a very fancy, electronic. I think it's Ionos Oronos or whatever.
>> Freddy: I don't.
>> Parker: It's very fancy car full of robots and electrons. Right?
>> Parker: Is something this.
>> Parker: I don't know what it is, but it's something. And it's real, real classy. Right. And it's a nice car. Make no mistake. M by no means saying it like trashing ituse. It's a beautiful park. Well, we get in and we're headed, to up to up north a little bit to go see a concert. And I decided to sit in the back because I have to take a meeting on my laptop during. During the trip. Justuse you things time out sometimes, no big deal. So I'm like, I'm just pop in the back. So our other buddy gets in the front and I'm like, hey man, would you mind just scooting the seat up just slightly? And so he goes like, he reaches to the side and there's nothing there. And then he reaches underneath the front and pulls the bar up and slides the thing forward. And I was like, wait a minute. In this electric fucking modern ass car. Don't have electric seats.
>> Parker: It's got the bar.
>> Parker: That I thought about it and I was like, wait a minute. I was like, that's the fucking. That's the best scam I've ever heard in my life initially. But then I thought, I guess that would make sense because that's less electricity than it has.
>> Freddy: Oh, it is car.
>> Parker: Yeah. Yeah.
>> Parker: I mean that would. I mean that's electricity. So like that would something that it doesn't have to deal with, right?
>> Parker: yeah, but the driver's side has it. It's just the passenger.
>> Parker: Oh, okay.
>> Parker: Okay.
>> Parker: So I don't know, but it was.
>> Parker: Just crack me the driver s side.
>> Freddy: It'sus do electric cars like the ports for charging, are they universal?
>> Parker: No, they're not.
>> Freddy: They're not.
>> Parker: you can get an adapter though.
>> Parker: Yeah, you can get o.
>> Freddy: Okay.
>> Parker: Yeah. Like if you go to a Tesla port or whatever, right. Tesla charging station, it works for Teslas. But if you have let's say like a Ford or something, right? You have little adapter that you get.
>> Freddy: That's so stupid. I don't understand it.
>> Parker: I mean Tesla wants you to buy.
>> Freddy: Teslas s. That's insane.
>> Parker: Now a lot of other ones do have. I think if you go to like a non branded one that has.
>> Parker: But yeah, you can go to like the sphinx or the gas and you can use theirs. The Tesla is cause there's a supercharger I can char 30 minutes. So that's why he so hooper. Now they're catching on fireing right?
>> Freddy: Somebody gonna vandalize it?
>> Parker: I mean, I know we shouldn't just. But that's stupid, man. You'renna burn something up and at least burn it up. Don't burn yourself with it.
>> Parker: Are you talking about that guy like in Vegas like months? No, it was in Columbia.
>> Parker: I was here. It was one of our own.
>> Parker: No, he burned.
>> Freddy: Burn himself up in a tesa.
>> Parker: Yeah, he was going to burn up.
>> Parker: A charging station and he got himself a fire.
In this situation, is it situational? It depends on the situation
>> Parker: Jesus. That's Don't that. But see now, now, Fred. Now, Fred, are we Prof. Fire again or no? In this situation, is it situational?
>> Freddy: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
>> Parker: It depends on the situation. Yeah, exactly.
>> Parker: We're situationally Prof. Fire. Now, guys. still anti pol though, right?
>> Freddy: Yeah, we're talking state always ant poln.
>> Parker: Okay. That's all that matters to me.
The Black lkoln Collective podcast will return after a brief break
All right, well, let's take a quick break and we'll be back with more 182nd edition of the Black lkoln Collective podcast. The Black lkoln Collective podcast will return after a wor from our sponsors.
>> Parker: Welcome. Welcome back to the show. I didn't realize we're starting back. That's okay. So welcome back. We're doing this show, ladies and gentlemen.
>> Freddy: We're doing it fre.
>> Parker: Fred, I gotta tell you a story. Fred. A quick one and then another one. Fred, I have a new. Oh, wait, it's not been 50 minutes yet. I'm gon to go for it. Anyway, Fred, new favorite fruit. Isn't that exciting? I'm so excited. Would you like to get guava? Guava? It is not guava. Guava. I'm not a huge fan of guava. I was talking to somebody about that today. I don't hate guava. I likeava when it is in things I don't like. Stand alone. Right. I know Allen likes guava.
>> Freddy: Yeah. Like what?
>> Parker: Yeah, I'll just e regular fruit.
>> Freddy: I never had gu star.
>> Parker: I like mango. No, I'm like mango. I am not, a Fancy lad.
>> Freddy: Friendd I like mango and stuff. I don't like the fruit.
>> Parker: the fruit by itself is hard to get. Right? It's hard to get it.
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: But I love the stinginess of it. It like stings you sometimes. Love that. So. No, Fred. So before today or before yesterday, really, my favorite fruit allegedly was, according to my kids, was apples. Now the reason that they think that because, No, let me explain why.
>> Freddy: Okay?
>> Parker: Reason. I know, dude, I know. Okay? The all I know, I trust me, I know it's not my favorite fruit. But Red Delicious Su.
>> Freddy: Not even like any like, crazy FIJ app.
>> Parker: If it was to be, it would like be Fuji or one of those. But no, the reason is because I used to to make Jack Laug. I used to do this voice. And like, so I would do it, I would just say it. Whenever we would have apples, I would just say I like apples. And like the kids just thought that meant that I really truly loved apple so much. I don't love it. I mean, I like apples'm not. Apples are, not my number one. So I told them at one point we had like this, this game where it's like, oh, how do you know your family? Or whatever? And the question was like, what's your favorite fruit? And you know, everybody else has to guess it. And so. And I was like, well, my favorite fruit afterwards I was like, it's bananas. Bananas are great. And they're like, it's not bananas. It's not. You're full of shit, man. I'm like, I'm not. M full of potassium from bananas. But no, but I was like, no, it is bananas. Yeah, whole thing is bananas. Well, as of today, Fred, times have changed, Fred. And this is important. And if you've. If you've stuck with us last few minutes to be talking about this fruitit.
>> Freddy: Let'S get to know Parker.
What is your favorite fruit, Fred? Favorite is all aspects of it
>> Parker: This is not going to be worth it for you, but my new favorite fruit, Fred, is delicious World of Grapes.
>> Parker: I. Grapes are good. I thought it was going to be something exotic.
>> Freddy: Exotic.
>> Parker: Oor. see, but part of. No, not regular ass grapes.
>> Freddy: Red, Red.
>> Parker: Gray. Red. Red or green?
>> Freddy: Gre.
>> Parker: Green. Green. Red or green? Either one. I like. I like them because they're poppable. It's like pop and you can chopp it you want and there's no preparation. See, that's part of it too, is I'm thinking. You gotta think. Favorite doesn't just mean best tasting. Right? Favorite is all aspects of it.
>> Freddy: Right? Well, but like if you had an option of like different fruits, like pineapples, watermelon, if they were cut up right and in se bowl and you had to pick one.
>> Parker: You know, I'm going to tell you something, Fred, and you're going to think less of me for this.
>> Freddy: The Waterlo. No, no.
>> Parker: It'S worse than that because everybody, when I tell them that I love this fruit, everybody makes fun of me. If I. If you put. Okay, so let's say you put a spread in front of me of the standard cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew, strawberries, blueberries, raspberry apples, banana. what else? Pineapple. Right. The standard stuff. I would get a honeydew melon first. Yeah, I love honeydew melons.
>> Freddy: Yeah. Mil does are great.
>> Parker: And my life is like whatey do is the stupidest melon saying if all.
>> Parker: The melons is the dumbest one.
>> Freddy: Yeah, that's true.
>> Parker: I don't know how you can quantify that, but I mean, I'm not wrong. I don't disagree.
>> Freddy: Don't. I like honey dudes. But like, the color throws me off because like the insides the same color as the outside. Like, if you're eating it, you don't know when to stop. You know, I'm saying like you around and start eating a rhyme, or the rind.
>> Parker: Yeah. Well, that's what you get.
>> Parker: That is it Ryan. I think it's Ryan's Rya likeind. This is another exciting episode of Fruit Chat. But I just. It's so silly. Everybody's got. What is your favorite fruit, Fred?
>> Freddy: if I had to spread in front of me the. I think I like cantaloupe. A little bit salt.
>> Parker: Antelope is great.
>> Freddy: Yeahe sweet, real juicy sweet cantaloupe with a little salt on it. Get that salt and sweet. you ever tried delicious.
>> Parker: Have you ever tried pepper on it?
>> Freddy: No.
>> Parker: Try that enhances the flavor. I know it sounds weird. You don't taste the pepper. It's crazy. Dude, it's the best thing.
>> Freddy: You don't taste the pepper.
>> Parker: You don't taste the pepper. It just gives it like a little like the tartness or something. Gives it some kind of extra's crazy.
Fred: Beer 'is disgusting to me. To me it is. And that everybody's entitled their opinion
Should I ask Alan what his favorite fruit is?
>> Freddy: Look at mat seasoning.
>> Parker: Mine's actually. I like grapefruit.
>> Freddy: Ye like grapefruit. Really?
>> Parker: You put sugar on it.
>> Parker: Well, that's not grapefruit then. But I do remember doing that as a kid and that was the only way I could eat grapefruit was of sugar on it. It was good with that.
>> Freddy: I remember when I was in my, like, u fancy beer stage, you know, I mean, I was drinking all the fancy beers and I got the.
>> Parker: Grapefruit, last week.
>> Freddy: Like.
>> Parker: Grapef beer.
>> Freddy: Beer 'is disgusting.
>> Parker: Disgusting.
>> Freddy: Why would you do that?
>> Parker: Un American. That's what it is to me. To me it is. And that everybody's entitled their opinion, just the rest of them wrong. But it's just gross. So it's gross, Fred. But nasty, you know? I understand. Because part of like, having to drink nasty beers, part of like doing nasty, you. It's all just kind of. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do, man. You gotta be like, you know what? I don't care that this beer is gross. I ordered it because I got.
>> Freddy: Yeah. Oh, yeah. Gott drink it.
>> Parker: Yeah. Because it had a cool name. And that's what man does, right? That's what a man does.
>> Parker: Yes, unfortunately.
>> Parker: Well, fralsenyr very rarely in my life up until last week have I had a man as manly a day as I had. just the other week, the other Saturday I was fixed. No, no, that. This was after the homeless guy. So the homeless guy came and went.
>> Freddy: He in your butt.
>> Parker: I'll leave it.
>> Parker: Gary.
>> Parker: Is, Gary the.
>> Freddy: But where you want to go? Drop me at the come and go.
>> Parker: I'm going wherever you'let me, boss. So Friday, you know, that was Friday. And then Saturday I woke up and I was like, you know what? I got some shit to do because our dryer broke and I ordered the parts and I was like, I'mn fix it.
>> Parker: Didn't you fix it already?
>> Parker: Once I fixed it, though, I am like, I truly feel officially now that at least in regards to this one brand of dryer and this one model number, I. I'm a certified dryer. Or this one drer. I can't take my show on the road kill. Yeah. It's like, why do you keep resurrecting me, you motherfucker? Like, kill me. 500 more loadsuck you.
>> Parker: You open it up and it's inside.
>> Parker: Like, y little baby crer. I don't blame it for that. But yeah, no, it died again. And. And I was like, you know what? I'm, And I said that. I said this. I said, this is the. This is probably going to be the last time this is something crazy. we're going to have to buy a new dryer. But I am cheap, Fred. And this podcast doesn't pay me a dryer money.
>> Freddy: I got You.
Please donate to our patreon to help me buy a new dryer
>> Parker: So please donate to our patreon so I can buy a new dryer for my family. We're so close to the fires.
>> Freddy: Next time I come with ma house, he's going to have clothes lines strung up through the L room, like drying.
>> Parker: Oh, you got toa go through, go down close alley over here. Go down, go down Blouse Alley and take a left at the underpants, and that's where the kitchen is. But so I was like, you know what? I'm going toa fix this dryer. I ordered the parts online caus I figured out how to pull the error codes. I felt like, very manly about this thing, right?
>> Freddy: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
>> Parker: And so I like, I take it all apart and just entirely take the thingus. Of course, the thing that it says it is is in literally in the back corner in the bottom. So like, you have to every single thing apart to get to it. Right? But I was like, you know what? It's Saturday morning, I got my Red Bull, let's fucking go put on little music. Started tearing shit up, baby. And I was like, yeah, this is. This is what America's all about. Freedom and rock, flag and eagle. Well, money I get say being cheap because I can't afford to live here anymore because it's Americ.
>> Freddy: We like to say frugal.
>> Parker: Nope. Me and cheep'm tariff from my own ass. So. And that's the thing, you see, that's the difference, right'I? Send myself a bill at the end. and then I make my wife pay it.
>> Freddy: And I asked, fix the dryer. And then like got it back working. It was like, fuck it, I ain't putting the back back on it not working.
>> Parker: Just leave it next time to do it again. Well, I always find two extra screws. So weird. Yeah, but no, so I get in there, I tear it up and I'm like, allri, right, cool. Here's the parts that need to be fixed. I no, it's not them. M. It's not the two parts that I ordered for hundreds of dollars. It's not those.
>> Freddy: no dollars going to got you another one.
>> Parker: No, it wasn't like 500$. Dude, dryers are expensive.
>> Freddy: I'm noting 200 more dollars. You could have got you a dry.
>> Parker: Right, but's brand new Dr. okay, okay, but fre.
>> Freddy: But you'rea now you're gonna have to spend 400 more dollars.
>> Parker: How do you like this part Break. How do you like this, Fred? Hundred less dollars and you already have it in your house. And you don't have to throw away a whole dryer.
>> Freddy: I got a guy that will buy the dryer off of you and fix.
>> Parker: It and resell it back to my stupid ass. I know this game, Fred.
>> Freddy: Fuck it. You take that money that he gives you, put it towards a new dryer.
>> Parker: and thele continues. This is how. And this is commerce. So no, I was like, I looked around, I was like, I'm going to figure this motherfucker out. Like, because I'm not buying this other part. And I can return these two parts. They have a 365 day return guarantee. No problem. Gives you peace of mind. And I'll shout out appliance partts.com. they're good people. So I was like, okay, well shit, it's this. Then it's this other part. Sh. It's $2 as well. And I was like. And then I. Then thanks to a friend of mine, I was talking to him about it because I was like, you know, it's this cable, it's this cord that's just like frazzled. And I just, I don't know, like, I guess I'm gonna have to buy the whole fucking thing and rewire the whole dryer. And at that point I was like, you know what? I'm buying a new dryer because I'm not going to rewire this entire fucking thing.
>> Freddy: No.
>> Parker: But then I was like, you know what, I'm gonna, you know. So I was talking to a moneydy of mine, that Alan knows very well and of course front of the show. And who doesn't listen by the way? Cause he's a fucker. Fuck. you Matt. And so talking a friend of mine. And I was like, dude, you know, it's just this wire. And I showed him, he's like, why don't you just like fix the wire? And I was like, what? Why don't I fix the wire? You're right. I don't have to do all this shit. I spent $12 on wire and got the necessary things to patch the wire. Yeah. so I was able to like do a little electrician work. Yeah, Pass the fucking wire.
Fred fixes his dryer and it works better than ever
Connect it here, connect it here, Put it in. I can clean it up, blah, blah, blah. Put everything back together. Go to hit start.
>> Freddy: Nothing.
>> Parker: Guess what that motherfucker hums, baby. Really? It works better than it's ever worked because I also cled it all out. I cleaned out all the lint and all the shit inside the motor and everything while I was in there. Cause why wouldn't I? And like, I hit that button and o I was that Fred. Okay. In that moment when it worked and it didn't and it wasn't allowed, did it? My wife, son. My wife and son were in the room with me in the laundry room. And I'm like, here we go. Moment of truth. Blp. Hit the button. Starts up right?
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: I'm expecting like in the movies, like, you did it, honey. I'm proud of you. Oh, family. You're man. You'the man of the house. Credit, bro. No credit.
>> Freddy: ###Eah getting no credit.
>> Parker: O goodever you what you're supposed to do. So I was day of this day of manliness is not over yet, Fred.
>> Freddy: Okay.
>> Parker: Because in my search for wire, I came across a great deal on a couple of TV mounts. So they were on clearance for $each OE. I was like, hey, kids, you want to get your TVS mounted today? And they're like, yeah, sure, why not? And I was like, let's do that too. So I was like, I am a man. man. A man.
>> Freddy: Did. Yeah, I did that. Ye. Go ahead.
>> Parker: No, I was'say it made me think. Fred, you remember how, like, growing up and I don't think we really had it for dudes, but, like, how girls have like, Girl scout. If you're like a girl scout, you get like the merit badges.
>> Freddy: Right, Right.
>> Parker: I feel like we should do that for dudes, man.
>> Freddy: Badges.
>> Parker: Yeah. Know, like, if you fix your own, if you do something cool like that, you should be able to get a badge and put it on some sort of clothing. Like a leather jack. Love Ve you remember, like, Top Gun style leather jackets back in the 80s. Yeah.
>> Freddy: Bomber Jag. Ah.
>> Parker: Y.
>> Parker: You'd walking in the bo.
>> Parker: Yeah. The bomber jacks, where they would put all the different patches on them.
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: Ye walking Home Depot dishwash.
>> Parker: a dryer. Yeah. Dryer repair.
>> Freddy: Got my Dr. You got the other guys got got deck building.
>> Parker: Yeah.
>> Freddy: You imagine I got the car washing badge. I got, mowing the lawn and impregnate my wiferegnate. I got three of those.
>> Parker: Min would say divorce.
>> Freddy: That's pat on the back.
>> Parker: Yeah.
>> Freddy: Big. You get the rocker over the back. Over the back says divorce.
>> Parker: You get a little flag that pops up out the side, like up here beside you. Yeah. So. No, I just think that would be awesome, dude. I. I could see that being something that people would be like, into.
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: why wouldn't you Got put out just like you said. You don't get you don't get the, the necessarily get the respect that you think you get or stuff like that. And as guys and like, you know, startrry to be all like whatever about it. But as guys, we don't really have that. Like, like if we do something cool, we can't like that. Like, like dudes cool like turkey hunt or whatever. Like you can't really be like, hey, like who do you go tell that to? You know?
>> Freddy: Right.
>> Parker: But if you were wearing a fuckinge bomb ass leather jacket with patcheses on it. Yeah. And other dudes were wearing it.
Fred, you can start a club. I'm telling you, your local chapter
You know the conversation you get started.
>> Freddy: Fred, you can start a club. I'm telling you, your local chapter.
>> Parker: of. Of man club.
>> Freddy: Man man club. Ye.
>> Parker: But not in like a weird way.
>> Freddy: Not.
>> Parker: Yeah, that's the only thing is I wouldn't want it to the people to be like, oh, it's just a bunch of dudes like y. Ah, they're wearing matching jacket. We would be inclusive though.
>> Freddy: What are you guys like a motory club? No, just.
>> Parker: During the, you know, I'll leave the talk door. Yeah, right.
>> Freddy: I got a cabinet door by the fix next week.
>> Parker: Tell me about it. Help me out. Tell you. We'll see.
This is an entrepreneurial based podcast. We are forever coming up with brilliant business ideas
That led me to my next idea because again, this is if this is anything, Fred, this is an entrepreneurial based podcast.
>> Freddy: Right.
>> Parker: We are forever coming up with brilliant business ideas that we just need really somebod some backing.
>> Freddy: I gott, I got an idea. I. I want to start, I. I want to. Well, it's a, it's a name for. I want to start. I want to start a towing company.
>> Parker: No Towing company. All right. I'm.
>> Freddy: Yeah, I'm sorry. You know, I'm a black guy, so I'm gonna name it Brazil Nuts. Brazil N. Yeah. Brazil Nuts. Yeah. Why you don't know?
>> Parker: Because Brazil Nuts, you can only have two of them a day.
>> Freddy: No. Yeah, like I'm not going to say why, but like you just think about it and think about it. Like another name for Brazil nuts.
>> Parker: Macadamia. I don't know. Okay, hold on. I don't want to say name for Brazil Ns and I don't want to Google this.
>> Freddy: Yeah. Come. We can't play it. We can't say the name about out loud. I'm not gonna say loud.
>> Parker: I don't get it.
>> Parker: O. Let's see here.
>> Freddy: I. I'm prety sure I listeners,
>> Parker: They probably understand why as we do not because we are idiots. I am idiot'okay. Urban. Let me look at urbaniction. That's probably the problem. Oh, no. Oh, no. We can't say that. Oh, man. Ladies and gentlemen, if Fred started that, he would be canceled within a week.
>> Parker: Sub.
>> Parker: No, it is not. Maybe it is.
>> Freddy: Alan. You get it. You see it.
>> Parker: No, I.
>> Parker: Brazil m. Brazil nuts.
>> Freddy: Black toeing.
>> Parker: No, I can't do it. I don't know. I forget names.
>> Freddy: I will name it that thought I saw episode of U. Remember Louie?
>> Parker: Yeah. Lou.
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: He.
>> Freddy: His racist grandmother was like. She offered the kids, like he would. They. He's like, you got to know your grandmother. Your grandma, she's old. She's like 97 years old. And, you know, she's probably gonna die soon, so, you know, we gotta take you over there here so you could beat her and, you know, get to know your grandmother. She goes over there and she offers some Brazil nuts, but she called him no her name. And he's like, what?
>> Parker: I know now'figured. It out yet? Yes. for those of you listen at home, feel. Feel free to tweet the show.
>> Freddy: We're just towing cars.
>> Parker: Hashtag the other day from Brazil Nut.
>> Parker: We're just towing cars.
>> Freddy: Justs, man.
>> Parker: Just tow it away. Just work, Fred. There you go. There. We've got all kinds of business ideas, Alan.
>> Freddy: There you go.
>> Parker: So I wonder. It makes me wonder if Alan has any business ideas.
>> Parker: He's like, no, Iin't nothinghing.
If you could be an influencer, what would you be
>> Parker: What do you think about becoming an influencer, Alan? How do you feel about that?
>> Parker: I could be an influencer. Woulduece people to do nothing?
>> Parker: If you could be an influencer, what would you be? An influencer. Because you have to pick, like, a right friend, don't you have to. I mean, you. You kind of have your niche. Yeah.
>> Freddy: Yeah.
>> Parker: What would you like to be?
>> Freddy: I'm not influencing. No. I can't influence myself.
>> Parker: But you an influencer, though, was. You don't have to be an influencer 24 7. You have to be an influencer like 15 seconds at a time.
>> Parker: No, you gotta be 24 7, because. Yeah, you gotta off the camera wherever you go.
>> Freddy: You're Especially if getting.
>> Parker: And I guess the rule number one, to be an influencer, you gotta be a douchebaguse. And you gotta be like, I'm an influencerr. You gotta brag about it.
>> Parker: Do you have to say it's kind of like being a podcaster.
>> Parker: Yeah.
>> Parker: Which. Okay. Speaking of that, and. And I apologize to this for anyone who thought this. I have, I'm gonna hold this up to the phone so you Guys can see it. I never thought about this. So I have it on the back of my phone. The sticker, right? Not the dolphin, not the pink dolphin. Which is. That's true.
>> Freddy: Itquad.
>> Parker: Yeah, it says pod and whitequ. Hashtag pod squad, right'and? A friend of mine, again, was like, hey, so what's that hashtag? Is that for podcasters? And I was like, what? What are you talking about? He's like, that sticker on your phone. I was like, no, dude, it's for, like, diabetes stuff. Like, for my cause kid. My daughter has a. It's called an omnipod. And so they use the hashtag pod squad.
>> Freddy: Oay.
>> Parker: And so we got some stickers from the rep and she put one on her phone and she was like, dad, put this one on yours. I was like, cool. You know, of course, you know, kid tells you to do it, you do it. That's why I have a paink dolphin on my phone. But I didn't even think about it until he said something. and I was like, wonder if everybody who's seen my phone thinks that I'm like some douchebag on some Pod squad podcasters. And they probably do.
>> Freddy: There you go, Sadquad.
>> Parker: Get him.
>> Parker: You know, then they try to be all nice to met and met. You know, he's like, pissed off and shit.
>> Parker: Always. Excuse me. Excuse me.
>> Parker: I got to pick up Gary, buddy.
>> Parker: Gary sent meary.
Gary sent me to the back of this abandoned chick fil a for no reason
Gary sent me to the back of this abandoned chick fil a for no reason.
>> Freddy: Terrible.
>> Parker: Oh, man. Yeah, so I felt like a douche. I was like, well, you know, whatever. I try not to ca. Because I'm sure you guys. The same way I try not to tell people.
>> Freddy: No, I don't.
>> Parker: Sounds bad to say without. Without thinking about it. I try not to tell people about the show. Yeah.
>> Freddy: anytime I do, I'll tell people about it. But then, like, they'll be like, oh, for real? Yeah, I'm gonna listen to it. And then like, they never.
>> Parker: I don't blame him. I don't ever either. List't to it either.
>> Freddy: Yeah, okay.
>> Parker: You know what, Fred? We've long held the moniker of the best podcast you've never heard of. Yeah, so we'll keep with that. I love. But we'll keep it until next week when you get to be treated to a brand new episode. Friend of the Black LeagueKCT podcasts. So next week, we'll see you next week. So we'll see you later on.

>> Parker: The show's the end.
>> Parker: All right, blc.
>> Parker: Later. We tried, guys.
>> Freddy: We tried.
>> Parker: We're smart. Smarter than dumb, part two. There you go. Good night, everybody. Hey, we are laughing. And we are very good friends. Good buddy. Sharing a special moment.
>> Freddy: That's it, man.
>> Parker: Game over, man.
>> Freddy: It's game over.
>> Parker: Just hang loose, blood.
>> Parker: she're gonna catch up on the reout out of med.
>> Freddy: Get to the ch. Oh, what a thing.
>> Parker: 'It well, that's all, folks.
>> Freddy: I fil a visa, baby.
>> Parker: Godamn hit. Don't worry, nobody's listing.
>> Freddy: Anyway, as you know, I'm a man of special needs.
>> Parker: Surely you can't be serious.
>> Parker: I am serious.
>> Parker: And ah, don't call me Shirley.
